It was the Bafta’s Awards in London on Sunday and as I’ve always loved watching film award shows (it used to be that I dreamt of winning an award for best Costume Design) I now love to see the beautiful dresses actresses choose to wear, often by some of the world best designers and how the red carpet can provide great inspiration for wedding dresses too.

Unlike at the Oscars at the Bafta’s you often see actresses wear short dresses too; good for brides and their bridesmaids.

Romola Garai in Erdem. This a very cute dress, love the bold print on it, shame the outfit was spoilt by those heavy black court shoes, I would have chosen some fabulous coloured shoes every time.
